10 minutes from Sitges, 35 minutes from Barcelona….a million miles from anywhere.

Masia Sumidors

In beautiful Catalonia, Spain, just outside of Sant Pere de Ribes, nestled in the hills of the Garraf Natural Park, the masia has stood for over 400 years.  A masia is a type of rural construction common to the Catalan Countries.  They are often large but isolated structures, nearly always associated with a family farming or livestock operation.  Set amongst Aleppo pines, vineyards and olive groves, it is hard to imagine the tranquility that awaits you.  Despite the secluded location, we are only 30 minutes from Barcelona El Prat Airport and a short drive to Sitges, with its vibrant, cosmopolitan boutiques, bars and restaurants crammed into narrow winding streets along the shore of the Mediterranean.

Choose from eight bedrooms; each with their own unique style, yet remaining respectful to the overall rustic charm that our building has. All of our rooms are en-suite and have comfortable beds, with free WiFi and breakfast included; you will wake up in peaceful surroundings refreshed and ready to take breakfast on the terrace with views of the valley below.  Relax by our pool by day with drinks from the bar, and enjoy dinner by night under the stars in our restaurant, where dishes influenced by the seasons and sustainability are served with specially selected wines from Catalonia and beyond.

Corporate events, weddings and exclusive hire are all possible and here at Masia Sumidors we would love to make that happen. Please contact info@sumidors.com to discuss individually tailored packages to suit you.

Masia Sumidors is situated in the D.O. Penedes region, famous for the production of Cava, the sparkling wine of Spain which many consider to be superior to similar products from France or Italy.  You can discover one of the many Cava houses or vineyards within a short drive of the masia.  Tours can be arranged by us.  Enquire when booking and we can have it all arranged before you arrive.

Welcome to Masia Sumidors!
