The hotel is in a very relaxing location, a short drive away from Barcelona yet surrounded entirely by nature. My stay was short, yet it was comforting to see nothing but friendly faces upon arrival. I arrived at a cozy room and a bathroom that looked like a dream (It's a VERY old house, VERY rustic.) Not that it bothered me, but some might find it to be a complication, lighting in the room can be dim. Breakfast was out of a freaking fairytale; I wouldn't think I could afford a stay like this if it was offered to me. Getting there, though, is not for the faint of heart: (it was already getting dark when I arrived) the entrance from the main road can be seen properly if you come FROM Barcelona, if you come the other way (like I did) you'll most probably miss it and have to turn back, no biggie, then it's 800m up a narrow winding dirt road.

Amazing place to be to relax good view, the pool very clean, very welcome, the staff and owner very friendly, I will tell friends and family if they visit Barcellona, Spain to go and visit this place, the room was very clean and comfortable, fresh mountain air, with lot flowers and fruit trees, with outside Bar and dinner area it can be very romantic place to be with private area good food. A place to visit and stay for a week or more.

What a wonderful night! We booked at our favourite restaurant, Masia Sumidors for my partner's birthday and what a night it was. Gins at the bar with amuse-bouche was followed by a totally unexpected and fabulous personalised starter, knowing what we love. (We are not telling). Next was a light and flavourful thai salad, which preceded a steak, foie gras, mushrooms and Dauphinoise potato cake with feather light battered onion rings. Fabulous. To finish there was a truly magical homemade strawberry cheesecake, which was scrumptious. All this was accompanied by beautiful red and white wines and concluded by smooth espressos. However, the highlight of the evening was the owners' son, Alex, aged 2, singing Happy Birthday to my partner, Iain, aged 67. A lovely moment. Thank you so much Natalie, Keith and Alex for a truly memorable evening.
